Guatemala, January 22, 2013. Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, ratified a new agreement with the State of Guatemala to extend the mandate of the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG) until 2015. This will enable further progress to be made in the fight against the serious ills affecting our justice system.
