Assistant Secretary for International Narcotics Affairs meets Commissioner

Guatemala, February 10, 2014. The Assistant Secretary for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, William Brownfield, met today with the CICIG Commissioner, Iván Velásquez Gómez.

The meeting addressed a number of issues, including the US support for and financial contribution to CICIG, areas of action to be undertaken by the Commission up until September 2015, and skills transfer.
