Guatemala, October 4, 2013. On Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in the afternoon, Commissioner Iván Velásquez met with President of the Congress of the Republic, Pedro Muadi, as part of courtesy visits and rapprochement efforts with different sectors of Guatemalan society. On this occasion, important issues were raised regarding the legislative reform proposals presented by the Commission in previous years. The Commissioner said he would review the proposals and continue to work closely with President Muadi to support the draft legislation that most benefits Guatemala.
