Guatemala, August 18, 2011. Francisco Dall'Anese, head of CICIG, in an interview with the journalist Sandra Weis of Mexican magazine Revista Milenio, said "judges in Guatemala are not independent of politics". Furthermore, the Commissioner reiterated the need to purge the Guatemalan justice system.
