Press coverage of criminal proceedings underway in Austria against former police chief

Guatemala, May 13, 2013. Today, a number of different media outlets reported on the indictment of former Deputy Director of Investigations of the National Civil Police (PNC), Javier Figueroa, by the prosecutor's office of the town of Ried im Innkreis (in the federal state of Upper Austria, Austria). Figueroa is accused of being involved in the murder of seven prisoners at the El Pavón prison farm in 2006.
