CICIG participation in criminal proceedings (updated on September 11, 2013)

CICIG supports the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP) in different high impact cases that are either under investigation or before courts of justice. In a number of these cases, CICIG acts as a complementary prosecutor, pursuant to Article 3(1)(b) of its mandate. In other cases, the Commission provides technical assistance. Any cases that are being investigated are confidential.
