Guatemala, January 19, 2010.  As a token of solidarity with the people of Haiti, CICIG’s staff joined the minute of silence that was observed by United Nations offices worldwide. CICIG expresses its sincere condolences to the people of Haiti, its thousands of victims, their families and friends. Our deepest sympathy goes especially to those who lost loved ones and friends, including United Nations staff members.
